Despite having grown up in Seattle, WA, there are still a lot of places I have yet to explore there.
I recently took a trip to Seattle to visit my family for the holidays. There, I had the amazing opportunity to do several shoots for Free People. Among them was this adventurous shoot at Rattlesnake Ridge.
About four years ago I moved to Los Angeles to attend film school at the University of Southern California. While I love LA and the opportunities and people there, sometimes the sea of concrete and absence of greenery makes me miss Seattle.
This shoot was the perfect adventure that I had been craving.
When we arrived, there was a thick fog looming over the lake, weaving through the dense forest above. It was about 30 degrees and the wind chill was killer. It felt like I was standing in a wind tunnel with icicles piercing my skin as my hair blew in every direction.
I was lucky enough to have an amazing team of creative people with me. After all what's an adventure without challenges?
